technician specialized in Telecommunications
Reporting to the Technical Director, the technician
is responsible for installing, programming and guaranteeing the
maintenance of business communications systems and sound / public
address (PA) systems.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Install telephone systems;
- Program Norstar systems;
- Set up public address systems;
- Telephony and computer cabling;
- Problem follow up and resolution.
The ideal candidate:

skills;

- Learns quickly;
- Has a stable employment history.
Required employment qualifications:
- D.E.C. (college diploma) or equivalent training;
- 2 years experience in installing telephony
equipment;
- Knowledge of Norstar business communications
systems and/or Nortel Networks BCM;
- Good written and verbal skills in French
and English.
- Full proficiency in basic Microsoft software;
- Nortel Networks Norstar and BCM systems certification
is a distinct asset;
- Information technology knowledge is an asset.
