Reporting to the Technical Director, the technician is responsible for installing, programming and guaranteeing the maintenance of business communications systems and sound / public address (PA) systems.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Install telephone systems;
  • Program Norstar systems;
  • Set up public address systems;
  • Telephony and computer cabling;
  • Problem follow up and resolution.

  • Has a stable employment history.

Required employment qualifications:

  • D.E.C. (college diploma) or equivalent training;
  • 2 years experience in installing telephony equipment;
  • Knowledge of Norstar business communications systems and/or Nortel Networks BCM;
  • Good written and verbal skills in French and English.
  • Full proficiency in basic Microsoft software;
  • Nortel Networks Norstar and BCM systems certification is a distinct asset;
  • Information technology knowledge is an asset.
