Sol Messenger
What is the difference between Voice Messaging
and On-hold messages?
Voice Messaging answers and directs call with the help of interactive
menus (i.e.. “Welcome to Solist Technologies. For Sales, press
one, For Accounting, press 2,..”).
On-hold messages are heard whenever a caller is placed on Hold,
either automatically when the line isn’t free (Queue file)
or manually via the ‘Hold’ button.
Will I have to change the
messages often?
The number of changes is individual for each
business. Your Solist consultant will help you analyze the use of
Sol Messenger. For your promotions, changes will be more frequent
(about one per month). For your more general messages, the changes
will be less frequent. Remember that using the same messages for
a very long period of time will reduce their effectiveness.
Should I use a male or female voice?
The choice of voice is entirely at your discretion.
Some businesses opt for a female voice, others for a male voice.
Each voice makes a different impression. We suggest you listen to
the voices of all of our professional announcers before choosing
the one that best reflects the character of your business.
Do I need an Internet connection for
Sol Messenger?
Yes. The Internet connection allows us to send
you your messages without your having to do a thing.
Will my telephone system be out of service
during the installation?
Not at all! There is not interruption in telephone
service and the installation takes just a few minutes.
